ITC May Investigate Toshiba Flash Memory

Law360, New York (April 12, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The long-running dispute between Toshiba Corp. and Lexar Media Inc., which has played out in district courts across the United States, may soon be heard by the U.S. International Trade Commission, after Lexar filed a complaint against Toshiba alleging patent infringement.

The complaint, which also names Toshiba subsidiaries Toshiba America Inc. and Toshiba America Electronic Components Inc., alleges that Toshiba’s flash memory chips infringe several of Lexar’s patents.
