Congoleum Slams Judge's Denial Of Ch. 11 Plan

Law360, New York (July 2, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Flooring company Congoleum Corp. has appealed a bankruptcy court's rejection of its Chapter 11 reorganization plan, arguing that, contrary to the judge's assessment, the plan is in full compliance with the law.

In a statement of issues and designation of record on appeal submitted to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey last week, Congoleum disputed Judge Kathryn Ferguson's decision to reject the company's reorganization plan.
