Kroger, Nebraska Beef Face Suit Over Tainted Beef

Law360, New York (July 3, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- After recalling more than 531,000 pounds of ground beef on Tuesday, meat supplier Nebraska Beef Ltd. and grocery chain The Kroger Co. are facing a product liability suit brought by a man who was infected by E. coli after eating allegedly tainted Kroger beef.
