La. Passes 'Bring Your Gun To Work' Law

Law360 (July 7, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A new Louisiana law will allow workers to bring their guns to work, or at least to the parking lot.

The law, which was signed by Gov. Bobby Jindal July 2 and goes into effect on Aug. 15, allows workers to store their licensed guns in their locked car or truck “in any parking lot, parking garage or other designated parking area.”
