Ampex Confirmation Hearing Deadline Pushed Back

Law360, New York (July 7, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Bankrupt electronics company Ampex Corp. and its creditors have agreed to postpone the deadline to hold a hearing on the confirmation of the company's third amended reorganization plan to mid-August.

In a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday, Ampex revealed that it had signed a letter agreement with its creditors on June 30 moving the deadline hearing from July 31 to Aug. 15. However, the hearing is still currently scheduled for July 31, according to Nicholas Miller, who represents Ampex.
