Pregnancy Suit Against Church Will Go To Trial

Law360, New York (July 8, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has denied a second motion for summary judgment in a gender and pregnancy discrimination case against the Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists, ruling that a jury should decide whether a teacher's termination violates federal employment laws or falls under protected religious code.
