As Verdict Looms, Rambus-Hynix Battle Rages On

Law360 (April 18, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- As technology licensing company Rambus Inc. and memory chip maker Hynix Semiconductor await a jury verdict in phase two of the companies’ patent infringement lawsuit, the companies are preparing to face off over allegations of anti-competitive behavior that will be addressed in the third and final phase of the contentious battle.

In that portion of the trial, the court will hear Hynix’s allegations that Rambus impeded market adoption of the memory integrated circuit DDR SDRAM, or double-data-rate synchronous dynamic random access memory.
