Texas Court Axes $2.6M Award Over Enviro Contamination
By Jess Krochtengel (February 5, 2015, 6:09 PM EST) -- A Texas appeals court on Thursday reversed a $2.6 million judgment against two men accused of sabotaging Southeast Texas Environmental LLC's environmental contamination litigation against a third party, finding no evidence supported the award.
The Fourteenth Court of Appeals rendered a take-nothing judgment against STE, reversing a jury's award of actual and exemplary damages against Ken Bigham and Tracy Hollister.
