Anheuser To Mull InBev's Higher Offer

Law360 (July 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- U.S. beer giant Anheuser-Busch & Co. Inc., which was hit with numerous shareholder lawsuits after it rejected a merger offer by Belgian brewer InBev, has reportedly reassessed its hostility to the deal.

The maker of Budweiser is said to be in active talks with InBev, which has raised its $65-per-share offer to $70, according to a report Friday in the New York Times, which cites people briefed on the matter.
