Ranbaxy Denies DOJ Allegations Over Audits

Law360 (July 14, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- India-based Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd. said Monday it had already agreed to turn over certain audits of its Paonta Sahib facility requested by a U.S. Department of Justice motion to compel in the agency's ongoing investigation of possible Current Good Manufacturing Practice violations.

Ranbaxy strongly denied the allegations contained in the government's motion and noted Monday in a statement that the government had not filed any charges against the company.
