Judge Partly Reverses $250M Verdict For Medtronic

Law360, New York (July 14, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has partly reversed a jury's verdict that Boston Scientific Corp. infringed three Medtronic Inc. patents covering angioplasty catheters and balloons, and said he will reduce the jury's $250 million damages award.

In May, a jury in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas found that a number of Boston Scientific's catheter and balloon products infringed U.S. Patent Numbers 6,190,358; 6,605,057; and 6,210,364.
