Lawyer To Plead Guilty In Milberg Kickback Case

Law360, New York (July 14, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The last defendant in a Milberg LLP kickback case has agreed to plead guilty to a tax-related felony for laundering money as part of a scheme offering professional plaintiffs millions of dollars to testify.

California lawyer Paul T. Selzer agreed to plead guilty last week in exchange for a recommendation to the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California of a sentence of home detention and a $250,000 fine.
