Law360 (July 14, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a decision that widens the scope of European Union discrimination law, Europe’s highest court has cleared the way for a lawsuit to be brought against a director of a Belgian garage-door installer who made public statements that his company did not want to hire Moroccan immigrants, even though no proof was presented that any immigrant had been passed over for a job.
