Race Car Driver Sues Disney, Pixar Over 'Cars'

Law360, New York (July 17, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An Oklahoma race car driver has sued The Walt Disney Co. and Pixar Animation Studios over the alleged misappropriation of his likeness for the animated film "Cars."

The defendants removed the suit, originally filed May 21 in District Court of Oklahoma County, to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma Tuesday.
