New Mexico Rebuked Over Discovery In Zyprexa Case

Law360, New York (July 17, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal court has rebuked the state of New Mexico for failing to properly respond to discovery requests in a lawsuit it filed against Eli Lilly & Co. over Zyprexa.

On Wednesday, a magistrate judge in the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of New York gave New Mexico's attorney general, who originally filed the lawsuit in state court in New Mexico in 2006, until Aug. 20 to provide full and substantive responses to Eli Lilly's request.
