Judge Consolidates UBS Auction Rate Cases

Law360, New York (July 17, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has consolidated a handful of cases filed against investment bank UBS AG over the collapse of the auction rate securities market in a ruling that also named a lead plaintiff and counsel for the litigation.

In a ruling handed down on July 16, Judge Lawrence McKenna of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York consolidated five cases filed against UBS.
