Feds Nearing Approval Of Lockheed-Boeing Joint Venture

Law360 (April 25, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- After several missed deadlines, federal authorities are apparently nearing antitrust approval of a proposed rocket launch venture between rivals Lockheed Martin Corp. and Boeing Co., according to media reports.

The Pentagon and the Federal Trade Commission, which have taken much longer than expected to complete their review, were slated to rule on the deal by March 31, but failed to do so.
