Florida Sues Four Companies For Computer Support Scams

By Nathan Hale (March 6, 2015, 8:36 PM EST) -- Florida's attorney general on Friday announced complaints against four computer software and tech support services companies for allegedly deceptive marketing and sales practices that targeted mostly senior citizens.

The suits claims violations of the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Act and seek permanent injunction, customer restitution and civil penalties against defendants ASAP Tech Help LLC, E-Racer Tech LLC, Protech Support LLC, which operated as Rapid Tech Support, and Techfix USA LLC, which operated as PC Smart Support and First Class Tech Support.
