Sen. Calls For Belt-Tightening On Nuclear Projects

Law360, New York (March 11, 2015, 8:58 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Senate's top Republican on energy appropriations said Wednesday that there's still a lot of work to be done to keep government projects concerning nuclear fuel on schedule and under budget.

Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., chairman of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Energy and Water Development, said the National Nuclear Security Administration's budget request was substantially higher than last year's and that he and other senators are working to identify major defense priorities.
