Vital Settles Energy Drink Claims For Price Of 1 Beverage

By John Kennedy (March 17, 2015, 4:41 PM EDT) -- Two people who sued Florida sports supplement company Vital Pharmaceuticals Inc. in Florida federal court claiming one of its Redline energy drinks put them in the hospital settled the case Monday for less than $5 each — the price of one drink.

Almost three weeks after their proposed class action against the company, also known as VPX Sports, over its Redline Xtreme energy drink was denied class certification, Adam Mirabella and Kristen Arrendell agreed to the settlement, which dismisses the case with prejudice and requires them to pay their own attorneys' fees.
