Alcatel Wants Microsoft To Produce Patent Licenses

Law360, New York (July 22, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In its ongoing battle over network and video-playback patents, Alcatel USA Resources Inc. has asked Microsoft Corp. to turn over documents relating to patent agreements it made with third parties.

In a motion to compel filed July 21 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Alcatel requested that the court enter an order compelling a full production of Microsoft's patent license agreements with third parties.
