McDonald's Employee Sues For FLSA Violations

Law360, New York (July 22, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A former assistant manager at McDonald's Corp. has filed a putative class action alleging that the company violated the Fair Labor Standards Act when it failed to pay overtime compensation to its employees.

In the lawsuit filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, proposed class representative Alissa M. Justison said that McDonald's intentionally misclassified the plaintiffs as exempt employees and did not pay them for overtime hours worked.
