Baxter Wins Judgment In Failure-To-Warn Case

Law360, New York (July 22, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Baxter Healthcare Corp. has won summary judgment in a failure-to-warn case brought by a patient who alleged she suffered complications after being treated with a Baxter product to increase her platelet count.

Judge Peter Sheridan of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey granted Baxter's motion for summary judgment on Friday following a hearing that concerned testimony by the plaintiff's doctor.
