Transgender Woman Sues Ga. Officials Over Firing

Law360, New York (July 22, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A transgender woman formerly employed by the state of Georgia has sued several top state officials, accusing them of firing her because of her decision to dress as a woman as she transitioned from male to female.

Vandiver Elizabeth Glenn, formerly known as Glenn Morrison, filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia on Tuesday.
