PG&E Missed FERC Deadline To Appeal Rule: D.C. Circ.

Law360, New York (July 22, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal appeals court on Tuesday denied Pacific Gas & Electric Co.'s bid to change U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission rules about who is responsible for conducting studies and maintenance of the connections between new electrical plants and the electric grid.

A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit ruled unanimously that the court did not have the jurisdictional rights to rule on the question because PG&E missed FERC deadlines to file an appeal.
