Comverse Execs Quit Amid Questions About Options

Law360, New York (May 1, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Three top executives have stepped down from Comverse Technology, Inc. amid an ongoing internal investigation of stock option grants for company employees.

Kobi Alexander, Comverse’s founder and former chief executive, left the company along with William Sorin, who had been Comverse’s Senior General Counsel and former Chief Financial Officer David Kreinberg.

The three executives won’t immediately sever all their ties to the company. Technically, they're still advisors, and they'll be around long enough to enable a smooth transition, and cooperate with the investigation.
