Citigroup Seeks Final OK For $33M Gender Bias Deal

Law360, New York (July 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Citigroup Inc. and a class of thousands of female former financial advisers have asked for a court’s final approval of a $33 million settlement in a long-running sex bias suit.

Lawyers for the plaintiffs submitted a motion Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, requesting a hearing on Aug. 13, 2008, for the final approval of the class action settlement.
