Allstate Ducks Contract Claim In Cleanup Coverage Suit

Law360, New York (April 1, 2015, 9:55 PM EDT) -- An Arizona federal judge on Tuesday tossed a breach of contract claim against Allstate Insurance Co. in defense contractor Nammo Talley Inc.’s suit seeking coverage for costs stemming from cleaning up pollution at a weapons and rockets factory.

U.S. District Judge Stephen M. McNamee granted Allstate’s motion for summary judgment, agreeing with the insurer that coverage for Nammo Talley’s claims is barred by a pollution exclusion in its policies.
