Union Slams Wal-Mart For Alleged Overuse Of H-1B Program

Law360, New York (April 2, 2015, 4:38 PM EDT) -- The AFL-CIO blasted Wal-Mart Stores Inc. Wednesday for driving down standards in the U.S. tech industry by excessively using the H-1B visa program to maintain a low-cost labor pool of information technology workers, saying in a report that Wal-Mart is the only brick-and-mortar retailer that uses the program at all.
