DP World Pays $461M For Deutsche's BC Container Facility

Law360, Los Angeles (April 2, 2015, 3:35 PM EDT) -- Dubai cargo container firm DP World Ltd. is paying C$580 million ($461 million) to purchase a container terminal in British Columbia, Canada, from Deutsche Bank AG, DP World announced Thursday.

The deal for Fairview Container Terminal in Prince Rupert, British Columbia, one of several North America cargo terminals operated by Maher Terminals, significantly expands DP World's cargo capacity, in line with the company's goal to increase its capacity by more than 50 percent during the coming five years.
