Ex-SAS Cargo Exec Cops To Price-Fixing Charges

Law360, New York (July 28, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A former SAS Cargo Group executive has agreed to plead guilty to taking part in a price-fixing scheme in the air cargo sector and will serve six months in jail.

Timothy Pfeil, who acted as the North American sales and marketing director for Scandinavian-based SAS, struck a plea deal that requires him to work with prosecutors in their ongoing case examining allegations of fixing air cargo rates, according to the U.S. Department of Justice on Monday.
