Judge Approves Settlement In Gemini Patent Dispute

Law360, New York (July 29, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has approved a settlement agreement between technology company Gemini IP LLP and a group of software companies in a patent dispute over real-time communication software applications.

On July 26, Judge Richard A. Schell of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas dismissed with prejudice all claims and counterclaims between Gemini IP and teleconferencing software giant Premiere Global Services Inc., which owns Netspoke Inc. and iMeet Inc.
