Atmel, AuthenTec Settle Fingerprint Patent Suits

Law360, New York (July 29, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Almost three months after fingerprint security company AuthenTec Inc. won summary judgment in a patent infringement suit brought against the company by semiconductor manufacturer Atmel Corp., the two parties have reached a settlement that could potentially bring an end to their pending litigation.
