EEOC Wellness Program Proposal 'Troubling,' Law Prof Says

Law360, New York (May 15, 2015, 5:31 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's recently proposed rule on how the Americans with Disabilities Act applies to corporate wellness programs is “troubling” because it may give employers leverage to seek information that could be the basis for discrimination, disability law expert and University of Michigan Law School professor Samuel Bagenstos said in an exclusive interview with Law360.
