Mythic Entertainment Sues Microsoft for Trademark Infringement
Law360 (December 22, 2003, 12:00 AM EST) -- Online games developer Mythic Entertainment filed a lawsuit against Microsoft Corp. in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, in Alexandria over Microsoft's online game "Mythica."
According to the lawsuit, Microsoft’s game infringes Mythic's name and registered trademark Mythic Entertainment. The complaint alleges that the term "Mythica" is so similar to Mythic's registered mark and name as to be likely to cause confusion, mistake or deception among consumers.
