Putative Class Accuses GE Of Misleading Investors

Law360, New York (August 1, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A putative class action filed against General Electric Co. on Wednesday says the company knowingly misled investors about strong earnings prospects for 2008 in the weeks leading up to a dismal quarterly report on April 11 that sent the stock plummeting.
