Sonnenschein Scores Big In Aloha Spat

Law360, New York (August 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Overriding the objections of GMAC Commercial Finance LLC, the bankruptcy judge overseeing the Aloha Airlines Chapter 11 case has awarded Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP $250,000 in fees for its work on behalf of the unsecured creditors committee.

On Friday, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Lloyd King of the District of Hawaii ignored the protests of GMAC, the air carrier's main lender, by deeming Sonnenschein's bid for $242,896.18 in fees and expenses “reasonable.”
