Laid-Off Orrick Associate's Claims To Move Forward

Law360, New York (August 6, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A New York judge has dismissed more than half of the claims brought by a former Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP senior associate alleging that the firm broke a promise to make him partner, but his attorney says the remaining claims will result in a multimillion-dollar punitive damages award.
