Wendy's Unit Hit With Overtime Collective Action

Law360, New York (August 7, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A subsidiary of Wendy's International Inc. has been slapped with a putative collective action by a former sandwich maker who alleges that she and similarly situated employees weren't paid the federally mandated overtime rate.

Named plaintiff Marie Jean Louis filed the suit Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Wendy's of N.E. Florida Inc. and and an individual named Germain Tirnar, who the complaint says owns, manages and/or operates the company.
