McCain Presses For DHL-UPS Probe

Law360, New York (August 8, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) visited Southwest Ohio this week to decry the proposed closure of a DHL Express hub and to call for the U.S. Department of Justice to probe the company's plans to use competitor United Parcel Service Inc.'s airplanes for violations of antitrust laws.

On Thursday, the Republican nominee said that the agreement would force DHL to forfeit control over cost and quality of services to a major competitor.
