Plaintiffs Move For Approval Of TJX Settlement

Law360, New York (August 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Retail giant TJX Cos. Inc. is just one ruling away from bringing an end to the consolidated class action filed against the company over a customer data security breach.

Plaintiffs in the case asked the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts to give final approval to the $10 million settlement reached in the case in January. The settlement would bring an end to the class action suit that targets both TJX and Fifth Third Bancorp.
