Patriot Scientific Sues Chip Makers Over Variable Clock Speed Patent

Law360, New York (December 23, 2003, 12:00 AM EST) -- Patriot Scientific said it has filed lawsuits against Fujitsu, Toshiba and NEC in federal district courts alleging infringement of its patent involving variable speed system clocks in microprocessors.

Fujitsu was sued in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California; Toshiba in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York; and NEC in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, Central Islip Branch.

The company sued Sony over the same patent on Dec. 22.
