Sierra Club Fired Up About Coal Plant

Law360, New York (August 13, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In the U.S. Department of Agriculture's ongoing defense of its approval of the expansion of a coal-fired power plant, the regulator recently objected to Sierra Club's attempts to enjoin the Western Kansas project.

The USDA responded Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia to Sierra Club's request to set aside the regulator's approvals of the Holcomb Station Expansion Project.
