Boston Scientific Slaps Medtronic With Stent Suit

Law360, New York (August 13, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Boston Scientific Corp. has accused Medtronic Inc. of infringing 10 patents relating to endovascular stent grafts by selling products designed to treat abdominal aortic aneurysms Tuesday.

The complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Tuesday, alleges that Medtronic knew about the patents and willfully infringed them in the production and sale of its AneuRx, AAAdvantage and Talent lines of graft systems.
