Muted Impact Seen From Supreme Court's eBay Ruling

Law360, New York (May 17, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A decision by the U.S. Supreme Court in the closely watched eBay case won’t dramatically alter outcomes in patent litigation, but could have a considerable impact on proceedings, attorneys agree.

Earlier this week, the Supreme Court set aside a permanent injunction against eBay Inc. in the company’s battle with e-commerce technology developer MercExchange LLC.
