Jones Day Sues Real Estate Web Site For Infringement

Law360 (August 14, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Jones Day filed a trademark infringement suit against Blockshopper.com after the site, which publishes details on private real estate transactions, allegedly posted links to the firm's Web site and pictures of its associates.

In a complaint filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the international mega-firm accuses Blockshopper and the site's founders, Edward Weinhaus and Brian Timpone, of using the Jones Day service marks to help garner advertising revenue for their business.
