Ford, Severstal Sue MichCon Gas For Cleanup Costs

Law360, New York (August 14, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Ford Motor Co. and steel manufacturer Severstal North America Inc. have sued Michigan Consolidated Gas Co. to collect cleanup costs for a swath of land near Michigan's Rouge River that a MichCon predecessor allegedly dumped toxic tars and oils on over seven decades ago.
