Gamers Widen Xbox Suit Against Microsoft

Law360, New York (August 14, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Frustrated gamers who have had trouble accessing Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox online gaming service are expanding a proposed product liability class action against the software giant.

The proposed class of gamers filed an amended complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington on Thursday, adding new claims against Microsoft alleging a violation of a Washington consumer protection law and seeking unjust enrichment and declaratory judgment.
