Committee In Oneida Bankruptcy Retains Otterbourg

Law360 (May 18, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The unsecured creditors in flatware maker Oneida Ltd.'s bankruptcy case filed a request on Monday to hire Otterbourg, Steindler, Houston & Rosen PC as its counsel, just days before the appointment of the equity holders committee.

The committee, which was appointed to represent Oneida’s 30 largest unsecured creditors, lodged the request on Monday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

If approved, Scott L. Hazan will stay on as principal assigned to the case.
