Three Execs Nabbed In Alleged HIV Testing Sham

Law360 (May 19, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Federal prosecutors have accused three executives of a suburban Chicago diagnostics company of lying about possessing tests that could rapidly identify HIV and mad cow disease in an alleged off-the-wall plot aimed at cheating investors out of millions of dollars.

On Tuesday, the grand jury handed down an indictment that charged a trio of Efoora Inc. officials with engineering an outlandish fraud scheme, complete with a fake manufacturing plant.
